About Carolina House
Situated in the heart of North Carolina, Carolina House offers residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient eating disorder treatment to individuals who are battling anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, and other related disorders. We seek to treat the whole person and promote the development of strong, life-long emotional and behavioral skills that honor a person’s unique situation.
We utilize an approach to care that values every aspect of our clients’ lives, including their families, communities, cultures, value systems, spiritual traditions, and integration within the larger world. Our goal at Carolina House is to provide customized eating disorder treatment to men and women in a safe, home-like, and nurturing environment using a structured, multifaceted treatment approach that is delivered by highly trained and experienced staff.

In addition to therapy sessions, our clients learn culinary skills alongside our trained chef during hands-on experiences in our kitchen. They also have supervised opportunities to translate nutrition plans into meals several times each day as well.
