The following outpatient programming options are available for adolescent and adult females through Harmony Point’s esteemed treatment providers:
Partial Hospitalization Program: Montecatini is proud to offer treatment for females aged 16 and older through our partial hospitalization program (PHP). During PHP, clients meet for approximately eight hours per day, five days per week, for an array of intensive therapeutic interventions that are designed to help encourage successful healing. While in PHP, clients will engage in individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Clients also have the opportunity to take part in experiential therapies that are created to help them expand upon the skills that they are learning throughout the course of treatment. Clients who are taking medication will also be able to meet with a psychiatrist and a registered nurse weekly in order to help with medication management.
Intensive Outpatient Program: For those who require a less intensive approach to care than that which is offered through PHP, Montecatini also offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for females aged 16 and older. In order to accommodate the needs of our clients, the IOP at Montecatini is offered during four separate blocks of time so that clients choose which one best fits into their daily schedules. Programming is offered for four hours each day and includes individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, experiential therapies, and medication management services.
Partial Hospitalization Program: At Carolina House, men and women, aged 17 and older, have the opportunity to participate in outpatient treatment through our partial hospitalization program (PHP) in Raleigh, North Carolina. Additionally, women aged 17 and older can engage in PHP at Carolina House’s Durham location. This programming option offers clients an opportunity to participate in individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy, as well as receive medication management services with a psychiatrist as needed. In addition, clients are able to take part in a number of experiential therapies, including yoga therapy, art therapy, culinary group, and a sensorimotor psychotherapy group. All treatment is highly individualized to meet the unique needs of all who are entrusted into our care as they work toward achieving a healed life, free from the symptoms of eating disorders and co-occurring conditions.
Intensive Outpatient Program: Also located in Raleigh, Carolina House offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for men and women aged 17 and older who are battling eating disorders and co-occurring mental health or substance use disorders. Designed to be intensive, yet less rigorous than the programming that is offered through our PHP, IOP provides clients with an opportunity to engage in individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and experiential therapies, while also having any medication management needs met through visits with a psychiatrist. The essential difference between PHP and IOP is the amount of time that clients spend in programming. However, as is true for PHP, all treatment offered in IOP is personalized to meet each individual’s unique needs.
